Earlier this month Putting on the Ritz, one of Baltimore’s premier catering companies, had the opportunity to cater a fabulous Bat Mitzvah for a wonderful family at the Washington Hebrew Congregation. The event was attended by 100 adults and 72 kids. The adults enjoyed a cocktail hour in the lobby with passed hors d’oeuvres that included pairings of Mini Burgers with Blue Moon Belgium Wheat Ale and Chicken Quesadillas with Mini Margaritas. While the adults enjoyed their libations, Sarah and her friends got the party started in Washington Hebrew’s beautiful banquet hall.

Bat Mitzvah Guest Table

Dinner was served from lavish stations for both adults and kids. Featured was one of our most popular: a gourmet carving station with hand carved New York Strip nestled on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes garnished with fried leeks, gorgonzola crumbles and drizzled with a red wine reduction. The younger guests enjoyed the mini Philly cheesesteaks almost as much as the franks in a blanket!

Dessert was a hit with items like milk shake shooters adorned with warm chocolate chip cookies, long stemmed chocolate covered strawberries, mini red velvet cupcakes,
chocolate dipped jumbo marshmallows and fun dip shooters that were all passed butler style.
