PCMA held their Reboot Reception 2015 at Washington D.C.’s Carnegie Library across from the Washington D.C. Convention Center. The Events D.C. staff created a modern yet relaxed feel for the event with accents of blue, white, and light green.
Putting on the Ritz is one of Carnegie Library’s preferred caterers and we were happy to cater at their venue for this event. The PCMA Reboot Reception 2015 went off without a hitch with help from all of their sponsors including Putting on the Ritz, Bialek’s Music, Christie’s Photographic Solutions, Design Foundry, District Doughnut, Love ‘n Faith Community Café, Tierra Event Design, and etc
Putting on the Ritz provided all of the food and beverage catering services for the Carnegie Library reception. We offered bar services, food décor, and two food stations, Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos and an Asian Fusion Dim Sum Station.
The Mahi Mahi Fish Taco station featured a table top grilled Mahi Mahi topped with cabbage, pica de galla, fresh avocado with fresh squeezed lime to top it off.
The Asian Fusion Dim Sum station offered delights from two different regions of Asia; China and Vietnam. Owner and chef of Putting on the Ritz, Bobby Mitchell presented fresh table top steamed vegetable, chicken, and pork dumplings with a variety of Asian infused sauces. This station also offered Vietnamese “Banh Mi Sliders” (grilled pork belly, pickled cucumber and radish, topped with hoisin sauce, in between miniature fresh baked rolls).
As for passed hors d’oeurves, we had Coconut Shrimp served with a tropical fruit salad, Grilled Fig Crostinis, and Mini Cuban Sandwiches.
Last but not least, I don’t think any of the guests can forget the unique and amazing liquid nitrogen ice cream from Love ‘n Faith. Heaven in a little cup!
